So, the kids on the team themselves don't get together or anything five days or so a week and practice or anything?
ReplyDeleteAll I'm seeing is Wednesday night and Sunday morning runs. Every other team I've been with or seen has practice like everyday a week except Sunday. Sometimes practice twice a day. Wouldn't be a bad idea for more team practices during the summer. Maybe every other day or something??? All it would do is help the team as a whole.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been good at running at all until recently. My older brothers were good but they graduated and I moved. But when I did run my freshman year, we would train together everyday over the summer, not even with the coaches but just the kids and it seemed to work pretty good for everyone else. Then the past month I've been down in Lebanon and trained with their varsity team five times a week for three weeks and i'm in the best shape ever and I don't want to lose it and if i end up running by myself, then I won't get any better with nobody pushing me or anything.
