Great Race, Will!

Senior Will Chaney finished 41st in the State Meet with a time of 16:39!  It was a perfect day to race in Jefferson City.  Will made us all proud with a fantastic finish to his high school cross country career.

Sectionals Saturday, Nov. 2 at Blackburn Park in Webster Groves

Come cheer on Will and Sarah as they race at Sectionals this Saturday!  We will NOT be taking a bus, so post on the blog if you are interested in carpooling to the meet!

- take 270 east/north
- exit at McDonnell and turn left off exit ramp
- McDonnell becomes Howdershell - stay straight
Koch Park is located at the corner of Charbonier and Howdershell - Turn left onto Charbonier and then another left into the park.

A Few Changes/Additions to the Schedule......

1. Next Wednesday, Oct. 16th, both the boy's and girl's teams will be helping out at the Pattonville Middle School Meet at Creve Coeur Park (upper lot).  This is the BIG middle school meet with teams throughout the St. Louis area.  We will head there after school to get a quick practice in, then we will help with the meet.  We should be able to make the 5:30 activity bus. *Please wear a PHS XC shirt!!! Note: This meet replaces our Pattonville-only Middle School Meet originally scheduled in November.
2. Sectional Cross Country Meet on Nov. 2nd--location has changed from Forest Park to BLACKBURN PARK in Webster Groves.

Friday, October 11--BORDER WARS!

Location: McNair Park (see below for map/directions)
Date: Friday October 11
  Meet in your coach's room at 2:30 pm.  The bus leaves at 2:45.

NOTE:  Bus leaves IMMEDIATELY after school at 2:35.  We will not make it back for the activity bus, so please make arrangements for a ride home from school after the meet.

Event Schedule:             

                                    4:00 – Varsity Boys

                                    4:30 – Varsity Girls

                                    5:00 – Jr. Varsity Boys

Race Information:  There will be twenty-five medals and two team plaques awarded in each race.  All medals will be handed out in the chute.  Team awards will be presented at the awards ceremony following the Jr. Varsity race.

Course Distance : all races will be 5k

Directions to Sioux Passage County Park

- I -270 North/East

- Take Exit 25B (go North) Lindbergh

- Left on Old Halls Ferry Rd.

- Right on Vaile Ave

- Left on Old Jamestown Rd

- Follow Old Jamestown for just under 1/2 mile and look for the park entrance on your right.

- Once inside the park, follow the park road straight until you reach the gravel lot at the base of a huge hill.

Directions: Forest Park Cross Country Course

The XC course is located on the Central Ball Fields in Forest Park.

- Hwy I- 70 east

- South on Hwy I- 170

- East on Hwy I-64  (left exit off of I-170)

- Exit (34B) at Hampton Ave

- Left on Hampton into Forest Park

-Right on Wells Dr. 
-Continue on Wells until you hit the fields.  Parking available around the entire perimeter of the fields as well as on the nearby upper Muny parking lot.
